About Mrs. Thompson                  

Hello, my name is Dondi Thompson and I was born here in Norman and have lived here my whole life. I graduated from Norman High School in 1986, and from there went on to the University of Oklahoma. I graduated from OU with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1991 and began teaching seventh grade math here at Whittier Middle School. I taught here at Whittier for 6 years, and when Alcott opened in 1997, I began teaching there. I taught at Alcott for 10 years. Right before my son was to become a Warrior, I came back to Whittier to teach! Currently I teach Sixth grade math, Seventh Grade Math, and Skills Enhancement. I have a wonderful husband named Brad and two awesome children, Tanner (age 26) and Abbey (age 21). Tanner graduated from OU with a Finance degree (with a minor in Japanese) and Abbey is to graduate from UCO in Edmond in December 2021 with a degree in Psychology. She has been accepted into the MSW graduate program at OU to continue her studies. Our family also includes our three adopted pugs named Lola, Lily, and Luca. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and scrapbooking.
